We are looking for an Eastern US Regional EdTech Sales Representative to champion our sales efforts with our school internet safety platform. This is a role for someone who is truly passionate about primary/secondary education and keeping kids safe online. This position is fully remote and reports to the senior leadership team in Northern Virginia.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
Building, leading, directing, and developing the regional sales outreach strategy
Researching, approaching and securing long term customers in Primary/Secondary Education
Developing and executing go-to-market and operational strategies to achieve business goals.
Creating customized, targeted, region specific sales and marketing materials.
Performing on-site and virtual technical sales presentations and webinars to generate and close new business within a defined territory, while owning the entire sales process.
Building successful partner relationships.
Work in Partnership with our EdTech marketing team to provide closed-loop feedback
Preparing performance updates based on key metrics for senior management
Conducting research to identify new markets, assessing market fit and customer needs
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the private and public Primary/Secondary education landscape and trends, and proven experience with operational and strategic sales and business development activities. Previous experience in sales and/or marketing within K-12 education is essential, as is an understanding of market research methods and analysis.
The ability to drive sales processes from planning to close, to articulate and demonstrate value propositions of products and services, and to position products against competitors are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience selling SaaS solutions and managing pipelines through long sales cycles will be desirable.
